Accurate Voter Rolls
Voter rolls bloated with ineligible and inactive voters are one of the favorite tools of vote harvesters. They know which ones on the list won’t be turning up to vote, so they vote for them.
We must ensure that every name on the voter roll is a citizen who is real, alive, residing at the address on file, and eligible to vote. Anything less means canceling out or diluting the votes and voices of eligible voters.
Top Priority: Only Citizens Vote
Foreign nationals cannot be allowed to vote in Texas elections. We must require proof of citizenship prior to registration.

Mail-in Ballot Integrity
The only safe, secret, and secure way to vote is in person, inside the polling location. Alternate voting methods should only be used when absolutely necessary.

Audits
Proper post-election audits are essential to accurate elections and restoring trust in our elections. We cannot allow the legislature to eliminate auditability by over-correcting to protect secrecy. Both can be protected.
Chain of Custody
Ballots and election records must be secure at all times. Violations of that security can call the validity of an election into question. Election offices have been given best practices, but not mandatory procedures, we need legislation to change that.
Top Priority: Signed, Sealed, Secured
All ballots must be protected with two signature verification every step of the way. Seals must have serial numbers. Ballot boxes and bags must be stored securely, and under camera surveillance.
Stop Ranked Choice Voting
If you can’t win on principles, why not find a way to game the system? There is a trend making its way around the country that we cannot allow in Texas, Ranked Choice Voting (RCV).
RCV is the most common among many preferential or alternative voting systems appearing in districts all over the country. Proponents claim that it saves the time and expense of runoff elections. What they typically fail to mention are the costs to election integrity from these systems, like longer ballots, longer lines at the polls, voter confusion, a lack of transparency, and inaccuracy, among other issues.
