Demanding Transparency,
Securing Elections.

People have used coercion, manipulation, and fraud to influence the outcome of elections since they were invented. In the last 100 years there have been the infamous stories of Boss Tweed and Tammany Hall in 1920s New York, Chicago’s Mayor Daley in the 1960s, and of course LBJ and the “extra” votes in Box 13 in Jim Wells County, Texas in 1948. 2020 wasn’t anything new, it was just done on a larger scale. It’s cliche, but “cheaters gonna cheat,” and it’s our job to minimize the opportunity to cheat as much as possible.

There isn’t just one vulnerability in our elections, there are dozens. Some are large, some all small, but all must be fixed. That’s what we do. We work to seal the holes and stop the leaks using education and advocacy.

Real Solutions:

Advancing Integrity is strategic and realistic. We take a holistic approach. Every part of an election is interconnected and important. We look at the entire picture and examine the costs and benefits to each approach. Our election infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and we must rebuild.

Education for voters, election officials, and elected officials is where we begin. Changing legislation means winning hearts and minds beforehand. It’s human nature to want ease and convenience. Advocates for election integrity must work to show voters why they should choose security over quick and easy.

We will differentiate between what is theory and what is proven. Inciting fear and panic is not our path to victory. The solutions aren’t easy, they aren’t quick. It is going to take work. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying to you.

Advancing Integrity does not endorse candidates, we remain impartial. We will, however, call balls and strikes, praising those who advance election integrity and holding those who do not accountable. That being said, if any candidate suspects that their election was stolen, we are here to help.

We are independent, funded by small dollar donors like you. We were here before the others and we will be here long after they are gone. We are in this for the long haul.

We can do this. We must do this. We won’t give up.

In 2015 our President, Christine Welborn, was working for an organization that sort of stumbled into exposing a massive mail-in ballot harvesting scheme in Tarrant County. They later exposed harvesting in multiple other counties like Gregg, Nueces, Dallas, and more. Christine didn’t have a handbook for finding fraud. She had to write it herself. The handful of people across the state doing this work back then felt alone, starting from square one, and screaming into the wind.

The November 2020 election alerted thousands of Texans to the reality of election fraud but the lock downs kept us scattered. It was difficult to share the truth, anyone discussing election integrity was shut down on social media and disinformation was everywhere. At the same time the economy suffered and many non-profit organizations did not survive.

Then Christine was blessed with the opportunity to start two new organizations, Advancing Integrity in 2023 and the Advancing Integrity Foundation in 2024. Advancing Integrity was created as a 501c4 so it would have the ability to advocate and engage in the Texas Legislature. It’s purpose is to take direct action to secure our elections.

The Foundation’s focus is on education and ensuring that no election integrity advocate ever felt alone again. Christine wanted an organization that would bring people together. This plan got an unexpected push when she was introduced to the Election Integrity Network. She is now the Director of the Texas Election Coalition, under the umbrella of the Advancing Integrity Foundation, and closely tied with EIN and their incredible work as their Coalition in Texas. The Coalition is recruiting affiliates from every county in Texas while EIN is recruiting states.

Serving at various times as Precinct Chair, Poll Watcher, Election Judge, and Primary Administrator, Christine has also worked on the inside of elections. She has seen the challenges we face first hand.

Christine considers election integrity as her calling. Her personal priorities are God, her family, and standing for truth.
